Help instead of gifts - fundraising campaign for the hotel anniversary: Kinderhospiz Regenbogenland Düsseldorf receives 4,000 euros.

Düsseldorf, January 8,2014 - On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, the Auszeit Hotel Düsseldorf donated 4,000 euros to the Düsseldorf-based children's hospice Regenbogenland. In order to support the work in the hospice, Managing Director Annette Klaus and Daniela Böhme, Managing Director of the Auszeit Hotel Düsseldorf, presented a cheque of 4,000 euros to the Regenbogenland Managing Director Melanie van Dijk on January 8,2014. The money will be used for the renovation and purchase of urgently needed furniture from the Regenbogenland children's hospice in Düsseldorf-Gerresheim, where terminally ill children with reduced life expectancy will be cared for and their families cared for.

Help instead of gifts

During the donation ceremony on Wednesday, January 8,2014 at the children's hospice, Daniela Böhme, managing director of the Auszeit Hotel Düsseldorf, explained: At a time when values are rapidly decaying, we want to support the enduring and remembrance, as well as to live up to our social responsibility in our city. Our entire team appreciates the daily work of the hospice staff very much. The donation was handed over in the form of a cheque to managing director Melanie van Dijk of the children's hospice Regenbogenland.

Help instead of gifts is the motto of the Auszeit Hotel Düsseldorf's 10th anniversary celebration on January 4,2014. Already in the apron by means of the invitation card to the anniversary celebration as well as over the social media in the Internet the donation action was made attentive and over the sales of home-made Charitymarmelade and time-out squeaking ducklings to hotel guests first funds for the Hospiz collected. The highlight of the fundraising campaign was a small auction on the evening of the anniversary party in the hotel, at which, among other things, jubilee T-shirts of the Auszeit Hotel could be auctioned off in favour of the children's hospice. The auction was crowned with an anniversary ice bombing created especially for the Auszeit Hotel, which was presented to guests and all donors with fireworks, a festive speech and a thank-you speech. The anniversary donation to the Regenbogenland Children's Hospice was made by hotel guests, business partners, employees and their families as well as friends of the Auszeit Hotel Düsseldorf.
